Lantern
A quiet, self-hosted feed reader: one column, no counts, and the day's reading in the order it was written.
Lantern reads RSS and Atom feeds on your own server and shows them as one column, oldest first, with no unread counts to chase. It keeps a week of articles and forgets the rest.
Why
Most readers turn feeds into an inbox. Lantern treats them as a newspaper: it comes once a day, and when you’ve read it, you’re done.
What’s in it
- A single binary and a SQLite file.
- Full text fetched for feeds that only send a summary.
- Right-to-left feeds shown right to left.
